01 / Why it matters
A route that starts at the same address every weekday can reveal where someone lives and when they are usually away.
A fitness app does not need to keep that history on its servers to help the person train. Trailhead keeps the durable record in an encrypted vault on your phone.
02 / Free workout tracking
Your recordings, local history, summaries, editing tools, and activity data stay yours without a Trailhead subscription.

Your durable history stays encrypted on your phone.
03 / Privacy by architecture
Your activities, routes, and profile are encrypted with keys Trailhead doesn't possess. We can't read them, profile you with them, or sell them.
Your activity vault and its key remain under your phone’s protection.
Trailhead seals only the activity you approve for the recipient you choose.
The relay moves opaque records, then removes them after receipt, cancellation, or expiry.
Think sealed-package courier. The relay sees limited delivery information—such as timing, ciphertext size, expiry, and opaque identifiers—but it cannot open your routes or activity details.
